Canson Baryta Photographique II 310gsm

Canson Baryta Photographique II 310gsm is the latest generation of Canson's previous TIPA Award-winning Baryta papers.

Baryta papers contain barium sulphate (a chalk-like substance) and Canson Baryta Photographique II is no exception with a 100% barium sulphate layer (Baryta) which helps with instant drying allowing ink dots to hold fast and not soak (dot gain) which ensures greater detail in dark areas and exceptional contrast as well as a wide gamut of colour. Reminiscent of traditional darkroom papers, this paper is fantastic for producing award-winning black & white images but in addition, it's qualities ensure very accurate rendition of colours for superb colour prints. Canson Baryta Photographique II is also a true FSC certified paper meaning that its wood pulp comes from forests that are registered with the Forest Stewardship Council^® and are harvested in a renewable and environmentally controlled way.

Canson Baryta Photographique II is available in sheet and roll form. As it is a premium weight paper, we would recommend using the straight through print path found on most Epson desktop printers. However, many customers report that it prints well for them from the regular paper feeder.
